2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Riserva, Limited Edition Magnum

There were only six magnums produced with the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Riserva, Poggio Leano. This Limited Edition bottle was dedicated to the twenty fifth anniversary of the opening of Alessandro Prestifilippo's first restaurant, Gourmet Italia. Gourmet Italia celebrated 25 years on October 16, 2024. Gourmet Italia and Poggio Leano are immensely grateful for the support of their customers and wine club members throughout the last 25 years. Salute to 25 more years.

Leather, bay leaf and cigar-box aromas decorate the baked berry core on the nose of this bottling from the vines planted 20 years ago in the DeLuz area. There's a gamy streak to the palate, where pepper, woodspice and dried fruit flavors align.
