2022 Montepulciano, Limited Edition Magnum

There were only six magnums produced with the 2022 Montepulciano, Poggio Leano. This Limited Edition bottle was dedicated to the twenty fifth anniversary of the opening of Alessandro Prestifilippo's first restaurant, Gourmet Italia. Gourmet Italia celebrated 25 years on October 16, 2024. Gourmet Italia and Poggio Leano are immensely grateful for the support of their customers and wine club members throughout the last 25 years. Salute to 25 more years.

Montepulciano is a high-quality, bolder Italian red wine with higher levels of tannins and acidity. With notes of blackberry and plum and hints of spices and herbs such as thyme and mesquite; this red is a crowd favorite. Pairs well with savory dishes like brisket, hamburgers, and beef Bolognese.
