Poggio Leano Wine Club automatically bills members’ credit card for shipments including all applicable taxes, handling, and shipping costs. Wine club shipments are billed on the first of every shipment month.
It is members’ responsibility to update any billing, shipping, and contact information. Member understands that most communication is done via email.
Member is also responsible for any charges incurred for redirected or returned shipments. Poggio Leano is not responsible for temperature fluctuations during or after shipments. All shipments are subject to weather holds. Please note that shipment-specific wines are guaranteed only within 30 days of the shipment date. If a wine is no longer available, a newer vintage or comparable wine will be selected. An individual who is 21 years of age or older must be present to sign for a wine shipment delivery. If a signature is not obtained, the postal service will return back to Poggio Leano. Poggio Leano is not responsible for returned shipments. The return and re-shipment of the wine will be at members’ expense.
Poggio Leano reserves the right to alter or change club prices, benefits, policies, event dates and/or shipping arrangements at any time.
Any damages to Poggio Leano properties—including furnishings, appliances, décor, or other items located on-site are the full responsibility of the member and will be charged accordingly.
Member assumes all risk of injury or harm that may occur at any of Poggio Leano's organized events and agrees to release, indemnify, defend, and forever discharge Poggio Leano from all liability, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses, and causes of action due to death, injury, loss, or damage to the member or property of the member.
All benefits of the membership are non-transferable. Members can change the name on their membership only once during it’s lifetime.
A member may place their membership 'On Hold' for one shipment period. After that period, the membership will automatically return to 'Active'.
Member understands they may cancel their membership at any time after four shipments have been paid. All cancellations must be made in writing, via email, with at least 15 days’ notice. Early cancellations will incur a $75 administrative fee. Benefits are no longer valid the day that the written cancellation notice is received. After the unsuccessful attempt to charge a member’s credit card for a shipment, the membership will be placed 'On Hold,' and benefits suspended until payment is processed.
If the member does not update their payment information, after three consecutive shipment billing attempts fail, the membership will be automatically canceled. Member understands that Poggio Leano reserves the right to terminate membership at its discretion. Wine club memberships are void where prohibited by law, and all club shipments are subject to the alcohol shipping laws of the member’s state.
